History

An early service station with several gas and oil pumps is on display, though the building is still a work in progress and not yet open to tourists. As of Spring 2024, the station has been painted inside and out, and the pumps are now being restored. See below for our progress.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of the newly updated vintage gas station exhibit at Kingsburg Historical Park! This project would not have been possible without the generosity and support of our incredible donors.

Your contributions have allowed us to curate a remarkable selection of artifacts that truly bring the history of this classic roadside icon to life. The attention to detail and authenticity in the exhibit has been met with awe and admiration from visitors, and it’s all thanks to you.

Your dedication to preserving and celebrating history enriches our community and inspires all who come to explore the park. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us keep these stories alive.

We hope you’ll visit soon to see the exhibit and take pride in the role you’ve played in creating this wonderful addition to Kingsburg Historical Park.

With deepest gratitude,
Kingsburg Historical Park
